The Middle East is one of the most attractive regions in the world, especially for companies that want to extend their business in the Oil&Gas Sector.

Taking into account the more than 20 years of experience of working with companies from this specific domain, and the wide range of products that we can make available for companies from this region of the world, we decided to participate to one of the biggest fairs for the Oil&Gas industry.

Thus, Grafex was the only Romanian gasket manufacturer that participated as exhibitor at “The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition&Conference – Adipec” (13-16 November 2017; Abu Dhabi – United Arab Emirates). The event gathered more than 2000 exhibitor companies from more than 50 countries, and approximately 100.000 visitors during 4 days.

The discussions that we’ve had during the fair focused on finding more business partners that we can supply our products to, and also on finding at least one distributor that could ease our access to the Middle East specific market. Grafex was an interesting partner for the vast majority of those that visited our stand. Our gaskets, especially the spiral-wound gaskets (SPW) and sealing rings (RTJ’s) were just a few of the topics that were of interest for many companies in the region.

Hamburg (Germany) was last week the host of the first edition of the Petrochemical and Refining Congress (www.prceurope.com).

The event that took place between the 21^st and the 22^nd of May gathered almost 40 exhibitors and more than 150 delegates of companies from different sectors of the industry, such as: oil & gas, , gas transportation, refining, chemical, IT, maintenance, construction, etc.

Grafex is the only company from its specific domain (gaskets and other sealing materials manufacturer) that participated as exhibitor to this event – a perfect opportunity for us to present to our international potential clients our wide range of products and services. The discussions that we have had during the event were very practical and were held with people from middle and top management, our focus being on establishing long-term business relations with companies from different countries, such as: Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia, France, Slovakia, Hungary, etc.

We are confident that our participation to this event is just another step towards a constant development of our company on the foreign market, the key to success into achieving this being the quality of the products and services that we offer to our clients.

About 300 representatives from top European companies from different industries (Oil & Gas, Refining, Environmental Protection, Technology) will participate to the event, and about 50 speakers will discuss about high-importance topics, such as: legislation, investments, technology, finance, international projects development.

Thus, in 2017, our company has begun building a new production unit which will put forward best available technology equipment for the manufacturing of gaskets and other sealing materials. The reason we took this decision is the fact that our business has grown each year – supplying our products for both Romanian and foreign customers.

Also, we will increase the number of employees, so that we would able to respond to the big number of business offer requests. Of course, all team Grafex members will participate to new trainings, courses that are adapted to today’s sealing industry needs.

Grafex was the only Romanian company participating as exhibitor at the 2016 Valve World Expo, in Dusseldorf (Germany).

The international fair gathered together companies from all around the world, and meant for Team Grafex the perfect opportunity to be noticed among leading organizations in the sector of gasket and sealing products manufacturing.

The products and services that our company offers to its clients formed the foundation based upon the discussions were held with all those who visited our stand, but also with the other exhibitors. Being the only participant of our industry at the fair, we tried to represent Romania at the highest level of professionalism and seriousness. Due to the feedback that we have received after the fair, we can say that our participation was very appreciated.

Grafex was the main partner of ROTRIB 2016, the International Conference for Tribology, event that took place during the 22nd and the 24th of September in, Galati. During the event, Team Grafex has held several presentations concerning sealing technologies. We also established collaborations with various specialists involved in the specific domain from foreign countries, such as: USA, Germany, France, etc. We continuously invest in both the improvement of the technologies that we use, as well as our colleagues’ academic background.
