Friction gaskets

Friction gaskets are manufactured from non-asbestos material, shaped according to the customers’ specifications or under the form of a plate. The mixing and compression technologies help obtain a homogenous and reliable material, with a high degree of friction, in a wide variety of temperatures, with a reduced uniform depreciation and a silent and stable operation. The usage of aramid fibres provides the proper maintaining of elasticity and resistance to cracking.

Friction gaskets are generally used for brake drum linings, friction linings for clutch, friction linings for industrial applications.

Friction gaskets can be:

  • Simple (GC-E; GC-ES; GC-MK; GC-PZ; GC-BO)
  • Reinforced (“+Z” type)
  • Serrated (“+N” type)
  • Hardness 55 up to 65 shD (standard) (“+6” type)
  • Hardness over 75 shD (very hard) (“+8” type)

Braking tapes

Braking tapes are made for all types of friction linings for clutch in most critical applications. They have a high and stable friction rate. They guarantee the fulfillment of the strictest safety requirements, thus being used in critical and high demanding applications.
